Our Team
Along with his Master’s degree in financial planning, Mark is enrolled to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent, a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, California Life & Health Insurance licensed (#0G29808) with a specialty in long-term care. Mark integrates all disciplines into a holistic, client-centered approach towards maximizing your after-tax income and protection of your assets. Mark offers additional financial services through his employment with Wealth Management Associates, Inc. (Wealth-Mgt.Net).
Mark has been an educator for the California CPA Education Foundation and Assistant Scout Master for his son’s Boy Scout Troop (Troop 645). In the past he has served as a director and treasurer of the Cameron Park – Shingle Springs Chamber of Commerce. He resides with his wife and children in El Dorado Hills where he enjoys gardening (aquaponics), mountain biking, swimming, skiing, kayaking, and many other outdoor activities.
Jennifer Allen, tax staff. Jen “The Jet” Allen is Mark Allen’s wife. Jen used to be a bilingual kindergarten teacher in Redwood City. Since then, she has taken various teaching positions off and on, and has mainly been a very busy stay-at-home mom for the kids.
Jen gets her nickname from her running abilities (she’s fast!). If she’s not out hiking, taking pictures of flowers, gardening, doing something with the kids, you will definitely find her running on some local street or trail. She is all about the outdoors!
Caryn Kralovansky, EA is a staff accountant with Allen Tax Planning. She has an accounting degree from Hayward State University, 20 years working in the tax field and offers part-time CFO services to many local and Bay Area businesses.
Caryn is an avid urban homesteader (she has lots of animals and plants and bees). She enjoys living in El Dorado Hills and can usually be found walking her dogs, taking care of her chickens, harvesting honey from her bee hive, or riding her mountain bike.
Sierra Parker, Office Manager, is a born and raised local Sacramentan. She comes to us with extensive experience in office managerial functions. Some of her past experience includes working for a local law firm.
When Sierra is not with us, she is usually hanging out and doing fun stuff with her sons, or walking her dog Daisy.
Dana Adams, Office Administrator, Tax Support, is a transplant from the Bay Area. She comes to us with many years of administrative experience and is now a California Tax Education Council Licensee (CTEC). This means she has taken over 60 hours of initial education to become a California and Federal tax expert. Dana also works for the City of Folsom in the off-season coordinating activities for local seniors.
Dana definitely loves it here in Folsom. When she is not with us she is taking care of her four children. She enjoys spending time with her family hiking, playing at the lake and taking photos.
Noelle Hetz, CPA, Tax Staff, remote worker who lives in Monterey, CA. Noelle has more years of tax experience than she cares to admit to. When she’s not working behind the scenes at Allen Tax Planning, she is walking her dog Bocelli, travelling, or volunteering for one of three organizations she supports.
